Come to one of our MaterniTEA Parties, held in our Nashville location, where you can meet our team, hear from expert guest speakers and be pampered with yummy food, great door prizes, and goody bags! MaterniTEA Parties are usually held the 3rd Saturday of each month from 10am - noon. Contact us to RSVP and confirm the next date. FREE and open to all pregnant mothers (bring a friend or spouse or come by yourself).

  • Lactation Consultation - currently offered in Nashville only

    Breastfeeding Education is offered in Nashville and Daytona Beach locations.

    At this time, Lactation Consultation with IBCLC is offered in our Nashville location only. 

    Whether breastfeeding is going well and you have a few questions or you and your baby are experiencing extreme challenges, we are here to give the professional support you need to feed your baby for a lifetime of health. Consultations are available in our main office in Berry Hill or through our satellite office at Maryland Farms Pediatrics in Brentwood. We offer consultations with IBCLCs (International Board Certified Lactation Consultants) with a wide variety of experience. Our team of lactation consultants work one-on-one with you to overcome challenges, set and meet breastfeeding goals. You also benefit from our team approach – we can work together to solve complicated issues and call on each other’s specific areas of expertise.

  • Hypnobabies® Classes - currently available in Nashville & Murfreesboro only

    Hypnobabies® is a very successful 6 week complete childbirth education course using Gerald Kein's Painless Childbirth techniques instead of simple relaxation, breathing or guided imagery. This allows our Hypno-Moms to employ “Eyes Open Childbirth Hypnosis”, easily remaining deeply in hypnosis while walking, talking changing positions; being as mobile as they would like to be during childbirth. We are famous for much shorter, easier and more comfortable labors, making childbirth the joyful experience it was meant to be.

    9 Months & Beyond offers two types of birth tubs for your convenience and comfort.

    We have the best price on professional birth tubs, exceptional service and are local to Tennessee!

    You may want to seek the advice of your birth attendant, doula, friends who have birthed in water and of course, Waterbirth International for information on which tub is right for you. Of course whatever tub you think you will be most comfortable in is a very important factor! Feel free to call for our help in deciding which tub will work best for you. We have a limited amount of tubs in each style. Please reserve your tub early in pregnancy to assure your choice.

  • Breastpump Rentals - currently available in Nashville only

    9 Months & Beyond, LLC offers Medela Symphony Hospital Grade pumps for rental in the Nashville area at the best price in town. We deliver to local hospitals and to many Williamson, Davidson and Maury county homes. Delivery fee may apply. Not sure if we can bring a pump to you? Call and find out today!

    We offer the personal touch and service of a real mom and lactation professional instead of a high-priced medical supply company. We are happy to answer your breastfeeding and/or pumping questions any time. Rental fees are paid in advance and pumps may be rented at our office (coming soon) or delivered to your home, office or hospital room.

    To pick up a pump at our office, please call 1-877-365-MAMA (6262) and press 0 or 1. Our main office is located in the Berry Hill District of Nashville, TN. Pump rental is available 6 days a week. Please call for availability.

  • Labor Doula - available in Nashville and Daytona Beach!

    We have assembled a team of trained, compassionate, non-judgmental, experienced labor doulas who provide assistance during pregnancy, labor and the immediate postpartum period. 9 Months & Beyond, LLC doulas are familiar with most popular childbirth methods and have additional training as a hypno-doula.

    Our team approach means that you can have peace of mind that you will have doula support no matter what comes up. Our team approach means that you will always have at least two back-up doulas to call in the rare occasion that your doula is unavailable (due to a previously disclosed conflict, illness or unlikely phenomenon of two clients in labor at one time). No matter when you need the caring, wisdom of a doula we will be here to answer a question or help you navigate pregnancy or labor questions and decisions.

  • Infant Massage Instruction - Nashville only

    The strokes and styles of baby massage are easier to grasp when demonstrated by our experienced instructor, Barbara Nicholson.  Pressure, rate, rhythm, the length of the massage, respect, bonding, why baby cries, baby’s body language, positioning of the baby, relaxation and parent empowerment are some of the skills and topics that will be discussed. These engaging sessions are perfect for dads, grandparents, or caregivers.
